What’s Different in Asylum Vol. 2?

  • The agility training is going to be more fun and challenging!
  • Asylum 2 is definitely physically tougher.
  • It will incorporate more ladder work than Vol 1.
  • The pace of Vol 2 is Faster.

Can I do Asylum Vol 2 without doing Asylum Vol 1?

  • Shaun T state that you do not need to do Vol 1 prior, but that it would obviously benefit you from doing the exercise and developing the endurance!
  • Asylum Vol 2 will still be fun for people who are not super fit!
  • It will be fun for people who were athletes and like to be active!
  • Like most of the programs you can do Asylum vol 2 as long as you move slow and stay in control!

Shaun T’s thoughts on Asylum Vol 2

  • His favorite workout in the program is X Trainer!  He said it was because its a whole body workout and has a crazy challenge at the end!
  • His least favorite workout in Vol 2 is Power Legs! He said Power Legs is a “Nightmare,” But its so much fun in a weird way!  It is weird cause it is so tough, very muli-dynamic, and very mentally engaging!
  • Lastly he said that he knew he was kind of mean in Vol 1, so he thinks he is a little nicer cause he feels for you!

Oh…..He is already working on what he called “The next Situation.”

    Todd,
Do you know anything about the Les mills Combat program that you can preorder? I was thinking about getting it, but I’m a little worried that it might not be very intense, similar to Brett’s workout program. I more into the Insanity, Asylum, P90X, Body Beast level workouts.
    You advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    • Todd Midgett

I’ve heard great things about it. From what I hear, Combat is as intense as you want it to be. I’m looking forward to doing it when it comes out. It’ll probably be similar to the intensity of Insanity…assuming you push yourself w/ it.

  • Daniel

    Hey Coach Todd and crew
My names Daniel from San Antonio Texas, I have been watching you guys and gal on youtube for about 6 months now and really enjoy what you guys are doing, especially watching all the pain and digging deep that Shaun T is putting you through. I am on week 3 of Asylum 2 right now and going through the hell with you guys. Asylum vol 1 and 2 are totally awesome. I usually watch what you guys do to try to improve my game. You guys motivate me to dig deeper. I do agree with a comment you made on one of your videos today Asylum gets harder each week. That is so true. I thought it was just me who felt that way. Hey thanks for keeping it real. I will be doing the hybrid in 2 weeks wish me luck.

    • Todd Midgett

Dude, we’ll be doing the hybrid with ya!!!! Proud of ya dude.

  • Joaquin Hamdan

Do you have a hybrid program that involves p903 and Asylum 2?
