As a Beachbody Coach, it’s essential that we help people stay accountable to their goals. Now granted, it’s something where it has to be a 50/50 relationship and the person wanting to reach their goals has to be willing to put in the work….BUT if you’re willing to put in the work, then a coach or an accountability partner can be a very powerful tool to help you succeed.
When it comes to working out, a lot of people struggle with doing the programs like P90X or Insanity at home. They tell us all the time that they just can’t stay motivated. Well, there’s a couple of things you can do. 1) Reach out to your coach and tell them what your goals are and what you need from them to help you reach it. Tell us your strengths and your weaknesses. That way we know what to look for and how to help you overcome the obstacles you’ll most surely face. 2) Get involved with a local Fit Club or get a workout buddy. We host local Fit Clubs in Charlotte and I know for a fact that there’s coaches all over the country that have them (one probably in your area) that you can get plugged into. That way once a week you have an accountability workout with a group of people that will help you stay motivated. If Fit Clubs aren’t an option, then you can do what I did today…workout with a buddy. A workout buddy can be just as effective. It’s someone who will push you and hold you up when you’re not feeling quite up to it. God only gave us appox. 70+ years on this earth. Isn’t it more fun to make the most of the time we have and live the healthiest, most fulfilling life possible?
Here’s a video from today…this is what accountability is about.
